The battery provided takes 6 hours to fully charge and provides one-hour continuous use. The scooter has a number of safety features such as an automatic shut off feature when the throttle handle is released, double barrel inflation chambers which prevent the scooter from sinking if punctured, full waterproof circuit protection to protect the electric components and a protected propeller body for safe use around other swimmers.

How often have you been out and about or on holiday and wanted to get a snap of yourself? The outstretched hand approach always results in half a head and a rather startling strained expression, or god forbid there’s the excruciating advance on some stranger tactic to ask them to take your picture for you. This is of course fraught with problems, odds are they don’t speak English, they’re undoubtedly going to take a really lousy picture, and they may of course just run off with your camera.

Enter the Quik Pod. This handy telescopic monopod takes any camera or camcorder, allowing you to hold your camera at a distance so you can take a proper snap of yourself and your partner. These Portable Barbeques are the latest in table-top, garden, patio, balcony, deck and park outdoor sizzlers. Choose from two different styles; the Fold Flat BBQ and the Carry and Go Briefcase BBQ.
The Carry and Go Briefcase BBQ is made from pressed steel, the ‘Briefcase’ folds out to provide a generous 48 x 35cm cooking area with integral wind breaks to stop your hot coals blowing all over the shop. Sturdy legs keep the whole caboodle off the ground to prevent you scorching anything, and it’s a great deal more interesting and fun than a normal briefcase (and a lot less flammable). The carry bag is tough and comes with a shoulder strap, so it’s a breeze to whisk off to your perfect BBQ spot.

The Fold Flat BBQ is brilliantly designed, packs as thin as a wafer thin mint (well not quite) and opens up to provide a 45 x 30cm cooking area. These barbeques beat the pants off those horrible and deeply environmentally unfriendly instant BBQs, and are probably cheaper – given that by the time you’ve bought half a dozen of them through the summer, aside from adding to the country’s landfill, you’ll have spent more cash on a pile of rubbish BBQs that you would have done on this beauty, which will last for years.
